My first time

For those who wondering what my first time is... Well, stop thinking other things... What i mean is...








my first time of outside audit.. :P



First time follow senior outside, 3 ladies went to Batu Maung there for 3 days... I quite like to work outside from office... I guess i can adopt the new environment easily... And get used to it and get bored very soon too.. And this job suite me.. Coz i can visit different places and work at different places each week.. :)

But traveling takes time.. lucky i'm not the one driving.. hehehe...

And next week we going out again! :D And heard that this is big company... Got two big CAF (Current Audit File) and two big PAF (Permanent Audit File) to carry... Heavy heavy... And this round 4 people going together... Dunno for how many days... Busy Busy... Need more rest...




And lastly... since i start working, i dun have much idle time where i can sit down and do nothing... Here's my everyday routine:
6am:
Wake up, brush my teeth, prepare Mickey's food, bathe, choose my clothes, blow dry my hair, feed Mickey, wash the dishes, prepare and eat my breakfast, toilet, make up (if still got time left!), and say goodbye to Mickey..

7.55am:
Start my journey to office.. Reach around 8.20am or later depends on the traffic at Greenlane.

8.45am till 5.45pm:
Obviously at work!

6pm:
Going back from office (currently at this time), sometimes wait mum at Grandpa house, sometimes straight away go back home.

If wait for mum,
7.40pm only reach home, bring Mickey out for walk.
8.00pm, prepare Mickey's food, bathe, feed Mickey.
8.30pm till 9.30pm, have my dinner while watching tv, and the only time i can rest and do nothing..

After that, i'm getting tired... Energy level below 5%... zzz.... :||

Not that small

It's not that small as i expected, i thought the firm only has one floor with 10+ workers, but i'm wrong! They have 3 unit all together! - Audit, secretarial, and consultancy. Workers over 50+. Not so small right... And the clients mostly are subsidiary of the listed company.

The colleagues there all very nice, young.. :D Most of them worked there not long ago, (high turnover) some are trainees but can handle few files already, and the seniors are young too, well experienced and willing to teach...

I made a new friend at the first day itself, both of us are new.. hehe.. And this round i not so shy and take the first move to ask for her name while waiting in the meeting room.. (unlike last time in college, i so quiet only, never talk until people ask me.. :p) Hehe.. I'm changing.. so proud for myself... taking the first move isn't that hard... kekeke...

As there's not enough space for both of us, we are allocated to sit in the assistant manager's room! Christine is her name. But she's nice too.. Again, look young and sweet.. Hehe.. Never show off her status, talk politely, smile at us.... :) So lucky and happy to work in this environment.. so far..

The funny part at the first day is the introduction of ourselves.. We went around to meet the staffs, exchange name... Gosh.. Why my name so hard to pronounce and memorize? And i cant use Joanne, got someone there name Joanne already.. Aiyo...

My new friend were wearing long pants at the first day, therefore was chosen to go for stock take.. And i still dunno belongs to which senior.. lol.. Was given a task to bring all the closing balances from last year this year opening balance.. Sounds easy right? I also think that's easy.. BUT BUT BUT.. there's always a BUT! First time seeing a list of Trial Balance, the real Trial Balance... And the font size is like 8 only... And they have 4 to 5 pages of them... O.o

Not just that, I have to key in the auditors' adjustments for last year to get the final figure that showed in the audited financial statements, which is sure correct one.. So, i die die must get that figure right...

Another but, they using dunno what Lotus 123 software, something like MsExcel... The icon and functions all so NOT THE SAME......... It really take times for me to figure it out how to amend the cell..... Ofcoz not i have to start from a clean sheet, but copy from last year file and erase all the figure and key in the current figure... BUT, the format copied for the Balance Sheet is so shit, it's not present according to the accounting standard..... =.= I have to cut and paste here and there, very the mafan.......... And that's my first day... Whole day fixing that sounds-easy-opening-balances.... AND YET GOT 3 ITEMS I STILL CANT GET THE FIGURE RIGHT... :(

I really gave up finding the error i done, and hand in to Christine for help.. The next day she ask one of the senior to help me.. Hehe... And finally it's settled... Phew.... If not, i really cant sleep properly wei... Every night before sleep, my soul will still around the office, thinking of all the documents, the colleagues....... MENTALLY ABUSED...

And i also learnt how to use the photocopy machine and fax machine.. LOL...
